Skyview Acres CSA!

This year, we are very excited to offer a meat CSA.  We are dedicated to raising our livestock the way our grandparents did – no hormones, no vaccinations, no chemicals. Lots of fresh grass and non-GMO feed. Our beef is grass raised and finished. Our hens free range. Our rabbits live in special rabbit tractors giving them space to run around and access to fresh grass and forage daily. We don’t believe in confining our animals. We try to keep them as close to natural as possible while still protecting them from the elements and predators.

The CSA will run from May through October 2013. Price and purchasing options are listed below. We have a limited number of shares available. You can make a 50% deposit to secure your share, however full payment must be made by April 1, 2013. 

Update 4/4: We are still taking orders for shares!  We can take more orders, however pork will be unavailable until late June or early July. If you are interested in ordering pork, we can base the price on the number of months you want to purchase.

• Option 1 - Purchase the base CSA package for $744 (not including rabbit). This is $30 off the actual cost for the entire package. You’re getting your eggs for free!
• Option 2 - Purchase the meats you want. If all you want is 5lb of pork a month, you can order that. Or if you want Cornish hens and 5lb of beef, you can pick those items.
• Option 3 - Purchase the base package, and then increase the individual meats you want. For example, the base package comes with 1 lb of ground beef but you need 3 lb each month. Order the base package and two additional ground beef shares.

Payment - We accept cash, check and credit cards. Credit card payments will have a 3% service fee added to the total. Payment must be received by April 1, 2013 to secure your shares. We have additional shares available!

Pick Up - Pick up is available at the farm or the Clarke County Farmer’s Market on the third Saturday of each month. First pickup is May 18 between 8am and noon.  You will choose your pickup location when you place your CSA order.  If you need to change the pickup location for a particular month, you must give us 7 days notice.  If you cannot pick up your share on the pickup day, you need to let us know at least 5 days in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements with you. We cannot hold unclaimed shares indefinitely.

Buying Clubs - Get a group of neighbors, family members or coworkers together to order and we'll deliver to you! We are also offering delivery if groups of people in the same area want to purchase shares. We can set up delivery spots in Arlington, DC, Fairfax, Ashburn, Leesburg... Just let us know where you are and we'll work on coordinating it!
